trip to nampa.

When saying we took trip to Nampa in all actuality we only drove 16 miles to the next town but we wanted to check out a boutique that is there in the heart of the town. Brass Razoo is a store that I have been reading about and has had a lot of recognition within other blogs sites and even in different fashion mags and such. It was so close we couldn't resist checking it out. I didn't think to check to see when it opened. And we got there two and half hours early. But this turned out ton be a good thing.

We strolled down the streets of Nampa, surprisingly it was fun and safe.
This half square mile of old brick buildings and little shops was a nice surprise to see because there are a wide range of opinions about the town of Nampa. The antique mall/cafe shop was where most of the treasures were found.

Just a Barber Shop.

I can't say I have ever been in a real bookstore that smelt like leather bound books.
The hunt for authentic jazz roots in the zig zag sneaks.
What is a Bonanza store?

Lovely store, see link for pictures.

All in all it turned out to be a good trip, there were more antique shops in this small vicinity than I think there is in Boise, well that may be an exaggeration, but very convenient there were enough for us to walk around and look at before Brass Razoo opened. Some good finds were found.

LB? I like it anyways.

Taking a stab at it.

I have been throwing around the idea of becoming a blogger, I read different blogs everyday and love the honest and ideas that are presented through the sites. My favorites: Cupcakesandcashmere, srslyliz.com, punkystyle.com, abeautifulmess, delightfully-tacky, plus many many more. Their postings are fantastic and new, yet all are individuals and are amazingly creative. I have finally decided -with help from my creative and beautiful friend morgan radcliffe - to man (woman) up and get this one going. Wish me luck!
